On 11 February 2010, the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, the regular life of the Trappistines in Brazil, Nossa Senhora da Boa Vista, officially began. The Eucharist was celebrated by the bishop of Joinville, Dom Irineu Roque Cherer, the (delegated) father immediate Dom Bernardo Bonowitz, and attended by the community of Novo Mundo as well as many priests and faithful of the diocese.

The eight founding sisters were from Quilvo in Chili (one Italian from Vitorchiano, already a founder of Quilvo, plus 4 Chilean sisters and 3 Brazilian, all of whom entered at Quilvo).

In 1881, fleeing French monks founded Our Lady of Koningshoeven Abbey on what once had been the property of King William II near Tilburg. The abbey currently houses a community of Trappist monks who all work in various artisanal industries. The best known is the brewery « Koningshoeven B.V. Brewery », where monks have been brewing La Trappe Trappist beer since 1884.  The monks also make organic cheese, chocolates, bread, and honey, all of which are sold in the abbey shop.  All who would like to taste the beer are welcome to do so in the Tasting Room, housed in a small café in the abbey's public gardens. Koningshoeven also has a guest house.

Koningshoeven's abbey shop is open from April to October, on Tuesday through Sunday, from 12 pm to 6 pm, as well as on Monday from 1:30 pm to 6 pm.  Opening times may vary during other months. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Abbey in Westmalle was founded in 1794. The abbey is famous for its Westmalle Dubbel and Tripel beers. These beers can be bought in selected shops and food service facilities.  Any income from the sale of these beers is reinvested in the brewery and used to improve the working conditions of the employees.  In addition, the Trappist monks make a semi-hard, ripe cheese from the milk of their own cows.  This cheese is only available at the entrance of the abbey and in a few selected stores. The Trappist monks of Westmalle also receive income from their guest house. The abbey and brewery are not open to the public.

Scourmont Abbey near Chimay was built in 1850 by a group of monks from Westvleteren Abbey. The Trappists have been producing Chimay beers and cheeses in their own brewery and cheese production facility for more than a hundred years. They do this with about a hundred employees, primarily lay people from the area, thereby making an important contribution to employment opportunities. The monks have set up a special foundation for their contributions to social projects:  the “Chimay Wartoise Foundation.”

Orval Abbey is located in Belgium, in the Gaume forest near the French border, is since 1070 the abbey of Orval, rebuilt in 192. It has been there since 1926. The abbey has had an artisanal cheese making facility since 1928, and a beer brewery since 1931.  Ensuring building maintenance and contributions to charity are still one of the objectives of the abbey's beer production. The brewery is not open to the general public, but the historical part of the abbey is. The abbey shop is located here, with a large assortment of Trappist products for sale. The abbey also has a guest house where people can make a retreat for several days of reflection.

Orval's abbey shop is open daily in the winter from 10:30 am to 5 pm. In the summer (June through September) the shop is open daily from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. Between seasons, it is open from 9:30 am to 6 pm.

Our Lady of Saint-Rémy Abbey in Rochefort, Belgium, was founded in 1230 at the foot of a wooded hill.  In the course of the abbey's history, it was destroyed several times and always rebuilt. For centuries, the monks have been brewing high fermentation Rochefort Trappist® beer;  the brewery is still the abbey's major source of income. The monks produce the beer together with a proficient team of employees. In order to protect the “silent” character of the monastery, the abbey is not open to visitors, however guests are welcome in the guest house and in the church.

Our Lady of Brialmont Abbey in Tilff has been a Trappist abbey since 1961.  It is housed in the old Castle of Brialmont, built in 1282. The community of nuns cultivates chestnut mushrooms, the most important source of income for the abbey.  The nuns sell some of these mushrooms as fresh produce,  and some as semi-finished products for the processing of other products. The Trappistines also have their own abbey shop and a guest house.

Our Lady of Soleilmont Abbey is located in Fleurus, in the green area surrounding the Belgian city of Charleroi. This is the home of a community of Trappistine nuns.  The first traces of the monastery go back to the 12th century.  After a serious fire in 1963 destroyed most of the monastic buildings, the sisters moved into their "new" abbey of  Soleilmont, a stone's throw away, in 1973. They live on income from their bread bakery and their Eucharistic bread bakery, from the production of liturgical vestments, and some works of art. These are sold in their monastery shop, where books and other articles can also be purchased.

Sint-Sixtus Abbey became the home of Trappist monks in 1831. They soon started brewing beer to support themselves. They are still doing this, selling the beer as a non-profit, and requiring customers to make a purchase reservation. Sint-Sixtus Abbey and brewery are not open to the public, but the abbey does have a guest house where visitors may stay for several days. Guests are also welcome in “Het Claustrum,” their visitors' centre located across the street from the abbey, where those who are interested can get a glimpse of monastic life.

“Het Claustrum” visitors' centre, across the street from the abbey, is open Saturday through Wednesday from 2 pm to 5 pm. In July and August, visitors are also welcome on Thursday.

The Trappistine nuns of Our Lady of Nazareth Abbey live and work here since 1950. Their income is based on the production of soap for personal and household use. They sell their products through their own shop and in the abbey shops of other ITA members. There is a guest house with 18 rooms where guests can stay for one or more days.

Six nuns from Our Lady of Nazareth Abbey in Brecht founded Our Lady of Klaarland Priory in 1970. The current group of Trappistine nuns produces jam made from fruits (partly) raised in their own garden, as well as cookies/biscuits, liturgical vestments, candles and greetings cards. In addition, they pack and distribute brewers' yeast tablets made from pure Chimay Trappist® yeast. Our Lady of Klaarland Priory also has an abbey shop and a guest house.

Lilbosch Abbey is composed of two sites: the abbey in Echt and the Abbey Court (formerly an abbey) on the Uelingsheide, in the nearby town of Tegelen. Both sites share their history as two separate religious communities which were merged in 2002.  The Trappists of Lilbosch cultivate their own grains, vegetables, and fruit, and raise pigs known as LiVar-Kloostervarkens for meat. They also import special wines for sale. Their “Uelingsheide Wine distillery” is the largest supplier of Mass wine in the Netherlands.  The Trappist monks sell their products in the abbey shops on both sites. The Abbey and Abbey Court are not open to visitors, but guests are heartily welcome in Echt's guest house.

Maria Toevlucht Abbey is located in Zundert, surrounded by woods and meadows. Trappist monks have lived and worked here since 1900. Since 2013, they have been brewing Zundert Trappist® beer in their own brewery. The beer is sold in the abbey shop and by many drink retailers. In the abbey shop the monks also sell CDs of religious music (recorded by the monks), books which they themselves publish, and many products from other abbeys. Anyone wishing to make a retreat for two to five days is welcome in Maria Toevlucht's guest house.

Mont-des-Cats Abbey is located at the top of the small hill “Mont-des-Cats” in French Flanders (Nord-Pas-de-Calais). It was established in 1826. Even then the Trappist monks lived off the sale of their artisanal cheese artisanally produced cheese. The monks are still producing and selling this cheese. They entrusted Brasserie de Chimay with the production of Mont des Cats. The abbey covers its own living expenses from the sale of beer and cheese, as well as those of its foundation in Madagascar. Another source of income is the 28-room guest house. The abbey also has a library and a monastery shop.

Trappist monks have lived and worked in Tre Fontane Abbey in Rome since the 10th century, while monastic life in this place dates back to the first centuries of Christianity . After 1870, the monks planted many eucalyptus trees here to combat malaria. 

Since 2015 they have had a beer brewery where they brew their own beer with a eucalyptus aroma.  They also produce olive oil, various types of honey, chocolate, and liqueur. These items can be purchased in the abbey shop.  The large abbey includes three churches, all of which are open to guests.

The Monastery of St. Peter of Cardeña is located in the Spanish town of Burgos, in the region of Castilla y León.   According to tradition, the community was established by monks from Monte Cassino in 534 and was a Benedictine monastery until 1835. In 1948 it became a Cistercian abbey. The Trappist monks make table wine, herbal liqueur and chocolate. A beer is brewed in Leone under the responsibility of the Abbey. They have a ceramics studio and they also produce pecorino goat's cheese. Visitors are warmly welcomed in the bodega (wine cellar) on the abbey premises, as well as in the guest house and the abbey shop where the monks sell their artisanal products. These products are also available online.

Mount Saint Bernard Abbey was founded as a Trappist monastery in the heart of rural Leicestershire (UK) in 1835. . They have a pottery studio, some beehives,  and a newly established beer brewery.  In June 2018, they introduced their first Trappist® beer on the market.  It is now for sale in the monastery store as well as via selected marketing channels.
